  • January 2018: Our recent article published on Journal of Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology was featured in several news articles (science news, lab worldwide, BelMarra health, Biotechin asia, and many more...), and Marta was interviewed live by the CBC to talk about it.   • October 2015: Sahar joined the group as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Her project is to improve adhesion between metal and plastic by surface modification techniques.
  • October 2015: Hesam successfully defends his PhD thesis! He is immediately hired by Bioastra Technologies as a Manager, Prototyping & Scale-up. Congratulations Dr. Mahjoubi!!!

She got to describe the biointerface lab's research at the Canada Research Chair award ceremony on October 12th, and was featured on a McGill video, in the McGill reporter, and in the Montreal Gazette!
